Another Just because LO......

Just  a quick post forgot to put up a LO I completed of my BFF. This is one on her special wedding day, she looked so beautiful. And what a special day it was.
A few handmade items on this LO as well, Loving the handmade stuff again!

TFL, had better go get this Father's day tea ready... Roast Lamb yummy. But no Tom Cruise just my wonderful Hubby wouldn't swap him for Tom Cruise anyway he he.

Happy Father's Day to all the Daddy's out there xx

Stuck Sketch September...

Here is the sketch over at Stuck this month, It's a great multiple picture LO. Turned out great for some pic that I have been meaning to scrap for quite a while of My 2 kids playing Tug of war. It's so nice when the actually play nice together and not fight...

And here is my interpretation of the sketch.....
PP from Stampin up, Handmade masking tape flower, bling.

I am loving using hessian at the moment, gives my LO a new dimension.
TFL have a great Scrappy Sunday!!

Scrap the Girls September Challenge....

So the challenge this month is to use CLIPS...paperclips, bulldog clips, and clips...

Here is what I came up with.....

This is My Gorgeous Niece Ellie, she is such a happy little baby and I really enjoyed looking after her for a few day. Even with the sleep deprivation and being thrown in the deep end with nappies and bottles again. I thought that I was so past that stage.
Love this fabric button that I made with the cute teddy!!
TFL..... More challenge LO to come, so loving scrapping ATM!!!

September Challenge at Scrap the Boys......

My first month at scrap the boys, LO challenge This month is to use household/family ephemera on your layouts. Now this can be anything from clothing labels, toy packaging, gift cards or cards from birthdays, ticket stubs etc....
Here is my example....

I have used the package from My Boys Mighty Beanz. As soon as he has $5 he is off the Kmart for another packet. He' s collection total to date is 113 Beanz.

I have used October Afternoon PP and a lot of handmade embellishments and the orange button is from A lil' somethin. Lots of distressing inking and stamping.

I'm really happy with how this turned out as I think that he does represent he's collection well.

If you would like to give this challenge a go head to Scrap the Boys and give it ago. Would love to see what you come up with.

Thanks for looking and please leave a comment, Love to hear what you think and the chance to visit your blog also!!. Enjoy your day I'm off to my scrap desk while the kids are at school....

Well.... Not a lot of scrappin happening here....

This month has just flown by!!! I can't believe that it is the end of the month already. I have had one of those months that I would just like to forget. Having family issues that some how become my problem (as they usually do) And then my beautiful dog Zara has been really sick. Took her into the vet 2 weeks ago as she wasn't eating, vomiting and really lethargic. Turns out that she has Cancer :( So it has been lots of visits back to the vet since and lots of tears. But I am happy to report that I took her in today to get her stitches out and she is having a good day. They tell me as long as the good days out weigh the bad ones she OK. But the bill is huge $$$$$. How far would you go for your four legged child (As I call her lol).
Took some pics of her today and thought I would share.

Look at her shaved belly from the op. She looks so shiny in this pic you wouldn't think that she was sick!!

Yes she is a Rottie, but she is the most gorgeous girl, such a sook really. I have only had her for a year but she was the dog that I had to have. She strayed into our yard not long after me moved into our new house. I think there was a reason for it because I don't think that they would have paid for her treatment. Fingers crossed that she will be with me for a while yet.
Love you Zar Zar

July Scrap Jacked Challenge.

Well getting a little late on all the challenges that I wanted to complete this month. The list to do is much longer that the completed list. But as I have done all the housework (well as much as I am going to do today he he) I have the rest of the day to myself.

So this month I jacked Bec. If you want to have a look at the challenge and give it ago before the end of the month head over to Scrap Jacked

OK so I scrapped (finally) some pics from My best friends wedding ( it was only in March slack I know). They really do make such a great couple. I did feel very privileged to be involved. But was glad when it was all over, I made her Invites, name cards, menu, and seating board. And not to mention the Hens night bits and pieces, it was full on for a few months. But I really did enjoy the whole experience....... And now for the Baby shower????

Well here it is:

And a closer look at the embellishment cluster at the bottom

This LO is used Lace Ribbon, Tim Holtz Tattered florals die. Varies PP still using my scraps up. Bling. Title cut using Cricut and of course ink. I'm pretty happy with how it all came together.

Thanks for looking, Please leave me some feedback love to know that some like minded people are looking at my stuff and what you all think.

Handmade fun

Well I haven't been feeling the best this last week and Hubby is away in Sydney at his meeting, so I'm feeling bad and his not home, a little lonely :( , and today would have been a great day the house to myself..... ahhh piece and quite. But I haven't been able to create and the day has seemed to drag on and on.
But I did cut out a heap of chipboard Tim Holtz shapes and stuff. I am trying to organise a once a month class/ workshop in Queenstown and thought that they would be good for some of the crafters to be able to purchase very cheap without having to purchase the dies. I have altered some but anyway blah blah see what happens...

But I did make in my opinion these great little... Shabby flowers (well that's what I'm calling them). Made from Tim Holtz tattered florals and a croqueted flower made by me. All made with fabric. Check them out!!!
And a closer look
Well hopefully will be feeling better soon, I have a friend that I haven't caught up with for months coming on Saturday to scrap with me. hopefully I will get some more of the challenges on my list completed.

Enjoy your night, Thanks for looking.

Thanks for Looking

Lovely Scrappy Day.

I have just got back home from my one day a month get together with the talented ladies at Be Inspired. This month Tania created a yummy boys page with Tim Holtz cogs and gears (I am loving everything Tim Holtz ATM. Featured on the Page is My Hubby and our Boxer Arlie.

Looking forward to next month I will hopefully have some company to take with ME next month. Had a lovely time spread out on my own table, the girls say they will put a reserved sign on it for me next month. I am not use to scrapping with other people as I generally scrap by myself. I really love going to this group once a month, just to get out, get some ideas and not be interrupted like you do at home with children.

Family day at Chocolate Winterfest.

Just got back from a lovely day at Latrobe, for Chocolate Winterfest, and wasn't it a lovely winter day. There was sooo much wind a little rain and a one point it did look like it was trying to snow!!!
Took a few pics that I will share, there wasn't a lot for the kids to do, but it was just so nice to have a family day out for a change. Even if Jake was a little whiny to start, you know the usually I want, when are we going here. You all know what I'm talking about. It's hard for a 6yo to just enjoy wandering and looking without having to purchase something at every stop.

Jack, Brit and Jakey on the Shuttle bus heading to Anvers Chocolate factory.
Jake and Britty favourite taste was the vanilla truffles. Jack got left to each both of the kids butterscotch fudge got a little sickly!!!
Kids at Anvers. Give me chocolate NOW!!

Here is that Grumpy little man that I was telling you about. Having to be doing something fun 100% of the time!!

A nice pic of my gorgeous family, I am quite lucky to have them all!!

Cheeky Monkey happy now to be on the move!!

This was My attempt to take a pic of us all on the track, as you can see didn't quite work out. Can only see Jakey's hat lol. But was funny trying.

All of the above pic were taking on a walk back to the craft shop on the old railway track at Latrobe.
Love the pic of my hubby, Have a class next weekend a doing a male LO, might have to get this one printed to feature on the class page???? Don't usually get too many nice pics of him he he.

I haven't been too well this weekend so no crafty stuff to show you, but I suppose the night is still young.
Thanks for looking. Enjoy what is left of your weekend.

A quick clean LO

Thought that I would post this LO that I completed last night on a visit to Grandma and Poppy Franks with the kids. A visit with them is always fun and always involves lots of games and laughs. Wish that they lived closer so the kids could visit more often.
On this LO I mainly used the photos backed by black Cardstock, kaiser rubons. Tim holtz die to make the flowers and also his cogs die, MM brad. I just like the simplicity of this layout and lots of photos.

Thanks for looking and don't be scared to leave me some feedback, I love to hear what you think.

Scrap the boys July Challenge.

I have completed the July Scrap the boys challenge early, due to having some extra time off work. I think being able to relax a little has help to get me in my scrap room more often lately. Plus I am loving being in blog land with all the fab challenges out there to keep me inspired. The requirements for Scrap the boys this month was to use TAPE and the work PLAY. If you want to give it a go as well head over to http://scraptheboys.blogspot.com/p/this-months-challenges.html and give it a go.

This LO is of my Hubby and Son tinkering around the yard on the grizzly.
Products Used: First of all I ran to hubby's shed to see what I could find. The tape I used Gaffa Tape and Sisalation Tape ( Tapes that I took from my husbands shed, the silver one is used in a roof to stick silver paper together. Well I think anyway and gaffa tape is a really strong tape that rips easy) and then I saw some screws and decided to use those as well. Other products were Tim Holtz cogs die cut and distressing ink and his tickets (loving all Tim holtz ATM). Kaiser Paper, Provo craft masking tape, stamps, kaiser rubons, alpha stickers, dymo embossing labeller and glimmer mist
I am loving having access now to so make great ideas, I had better go and tidy up my scrap room, so I can make another mess after tea.
Thanks for looking have a great night!!!

My Entry at Kylie's Card Craft at Latrobe for Chocolate Winterfest.

One of my local scrapbooking shops is running a competition for the Chocolate winterfest event held next weekend. Page requirements were to be chocolate inspired and here is what I came up with.....
This LO I again used my scrap papers so not sure of who they are by, Paper Doily. Al foil from the pantry which I then embossed, Stampin up two step bird punch, handmade flower (will let you know how I made that one at later date) Stampin up border punch, Stampin up stamps, Stampin up Twine, Jillibean Soup alpha stickers,  Making memories chipboard buttons, and of course Ink.
Close up of embellishment cluster, I went a little different on this one and used sticks pick up from outside. Inspiration taken for this LO was really from the bib with the birds on it. And Al foil from a chocolate wrapper.
Thanks for looking and If you live local and are heading to Chocolate Winterfest why not head into Kylie's Card Craft and complete a vote!!!

A few more LO using scraps

The next two LO where created while on a scrappin day in Ulverstone with two talented Ladies. It's great to get out and have a day with like minded people that really appreciate the effort that goes into designing some of the pages that we create. Will now be going once a month, but that month seems to take forever to come around though LOL.

Imaged removed for publication will post again at later date

This gorgeous pick is of my son, with a rather cute smile on his face. I love distressing and inking the paper to make it stand out. Will start to let you know what sort of paper i used, but as I am only using up my cut offs it very hard to know where or who they came from!!.
And lastly this is a page completed in class at the day in Ulverstone with Be Inspired Team, designed by the very talented Tania Pettingall.

Well thanks for looking I'm off now to try one of the challenges on the many blogs that I have been looking at. Lets see if I can link one to a competition. Fingers crossed!!

Some more of my LO using scraps

This is my Son and My husband. Love the photo but not so much the Tshirt

This is me with both my neice's Skye and Claire Love the lots

At Last is another LO of my neices lol, They seem to be featuring lots and lots lately. Guess it's cause they are soooo CUTE

Thanks for looking have a great day!!

So far this weekend this is all I have completed

Well as I have been doing this craft for quite sometime, I find that I am being over run with paper cut offs. Soooo I have commited my self to using only cut off and 1 12x12 peice of paper. To clear up some of the paper I have, and to tell you the truth I am finding it easier to create. Here is a quick LO I complete last night. Pic of my daughter Brittany and my Niece Skye having a cuddle. aren't the so cute!!!
