Back from MIA

Well I have been so busy in the last part of the year, My beautiful dog Zara passed away in
September after her short struggle with Cancer, Still miss her so much.
We are doing a reno at home and only this last week did we complete the sanding and sealing floor boards and the painting of our 2nd lounge, dining room, kitchen, laundry and hall way. What a massive job that was but soooo glad that it is all done and looks amazing. Lucky that I have a very talented and hard working Hubby or we would never have been able to afford to pay someone to do it for us.... So today I got to move my scrap space back and finally got to do some scrapping for the first time in 4 months OMG I don't think I have gone for so long without scrapping a page. So here is the page I have just completed be nice I am rusty admittedly I did scrap lift one of Wendy Smiths latest pages for inspiration.

I decided to give a challenge ago and found that scrap the girl challenge this month was
MONOCHROMATIC

minimal black and white is allowed, that means, for inks or journalling, or rubons or doodling or the odd small embellishment.

After my dog Zara's passing we did add a new addition to the family, my house has to have 2 dogs. Sooo we introduce Bella to the family another Rottie of course. Bella is now 8 mths old but the photo is her at 4mths old with My boy Jake and my Boxer Arlie so she is a big puppy and reminds me everyday of Zara. I'm sure Zara sent her to me xxx

Well hopefully I will be back soon with some more pics of my scrappy fun! Will upload some pics of my new space soon.

  3. Sorry about your dog Zara, it's always hard losing a family member. Brilliant layout!
I can relate to the reno story...awesome effort! We've been doing the same but only in small amounts ;) just the loungeroom & DD bedroom. Enjoy those lovely new floors.
